There are people who will never be able to appreciate what you do for them. Don't let it shock you that they don't. It's the nature of some people on the planet on which you live.
 Know them.
There are people, too, who will pretend to love you because you have a kind and giving heart, and they will take, and take, and take from you IF YOU ALLOW THEM TO.
There are people who will consistently say they love you, but they do not love you. They only love what they know you can and perhaps will do for them if they are able to have you in their claw. That is what they want from you and nothing more.
There are people who do not know what it means to love anyone but themselves. Avoid them when you find that they are so.
There are people who will never be grateful because gratefulness is not inside them. They are empty of it. No matter what you have done for them, in their minds it will all amount to absolutely nothing as far as such persons are concerned. You are wasting your efforts, your energy and your time attempting to please and satisfy such persons.
 End it.
Kind people always believe they are to make one more effort; give one more chance; believe a little longer. Good people have an innate tendency to examine their own minds, searching their own insides  to see if the other person somehow might just be right when they say it's your fault, It's your lack; it's your weakness. It is you.
