I must admit those shoes look lovely, in fact women's shoes are no longer just for wearing. They are to inspire jaw-dropping responses of exuberant delight; it's like watching the unveiling of a stunning new motor car.
Women's stiletto shoes are now as fascinating as fashionable motor vehicles. They are glared at in shoe store windows, discussed over dinner tables and on cellular phones, talked about with popping eyes and drooling tongues. These women dream about these shoes. They step into the shoe store and caress the things like they are babies. They long for the shoe being inside their shoe closets instead of on store shelf in their city where other female hands can handle them. And if those shoes match some garment they have been dying to wear but just did not have the shoes to match, then getting that pair of shoes spotted on that store ledge becomes number one priority. It is a must-have, and, in St. Kitts, some of these women have no idea where the money will be coming from, but they knows the money is coming, and it does not matter what the cost of those shoes is, some mother's son is going to pay.
They look good in them. Kittitian women are easy on the eyes. They are stunningly gorgeous. They walk the highway in the cooling evening; they take out membership in the many gyms now dotting the island; they dance and "wukkup" inside their houses to Sugar Bowl's jam-band music on radio or their I-pods; they clap, wave and sway for hours inside their churches once or twice each week and it is all paying dividend, because the bodies of these women are firm, solid and beautiful, and they know it quite well.
The women know that when they put these stiletto shoes at the bottom of those beautiful bodies, those shoes will naturally insist that their bodies lean forward, but they cannot walk with the forward-leaning bent the stiletto heel demands, so they must straighten their backs while standing on those things. Of course it does not feel that way. They are often unaware that the stiletto shoes thrust them forward, and that they need (subconsciously of course) counter that thrust by straightening their backs. This makes their firm, exercise-generated bottoms stick out; and black men like looking at ample, firm, Caribbean women's bottoms.
The women do look stunning in their artistically designed stiletto with platforms requiring almost tightrope-walking-negotiating skills, and many of these woman are quite prepared to make the sacrifice of bearing the consequential back pains later on in their journey through life. I suppose the sacrifice is well worth the present pleasures.
